A funny interruption after Dream - bumped into an elderly lady who was trying hard to get to Red Star for dimsum. Except, she couldn't find anyone who could understand what she was asking, and was rambling loudly while standing in the middle of the driveway out of Fraser Suites. We pulled her off the road onto the pavement, and once we caught what she was saying, flagged her a cab and made sure the driver got her to her har gow.
Carried on towards Great World City, where we hit iwannagohome!, Lifestorey and Molecule. Rather nice rubbish bins, and very cheery metal stools at iwannagohome!. Nice black lounge chair at Lifestorey (which is having a good sale now), but we'll pass on that because its chrome frame will rust quickly. Molecule had cool clocks, and I was quite amused that I had to fill up a form in order to take pictures of a chair that we wanted to show Owl. The form specified that legal action could be taken against me if the pictures were used for non-personal consumption, so sorry - no pictures here.
Hopped on the free shuttle to City Hall. Took a walk down through SMU and to Park Mall. We went through the shops there, and found stuff we liked at XTRA (#01-01). Heh, of course we'll look for the replicas lah! But the designs are really nice. Spurred by our finds at XTRA, we crossed over to three3three at Cathay (#03-04-07), where we spotted a dining pendant light that seemed more practical than the first one we had in mind. We'll see. Final stop - Air (flagship: 28 Wilkie Road, 01-01 Sophia Flats).
7pm. Six hours on the move. Felt like air - walking on air. But Rochor tau huay made up for it ;-)
