Another Step Closer

Granite Man and Finance Minister got the keys to our new home early Wednesday morning this week. Needless to say, they spent the rest of the day hanging out at the flat, and the rest of the week whirled by in a hurricane of equipment dimensions, overshadowed only by the real possibility of having to relook some parts of the design. I'm surprised they got any sleep at all this week - Monday and Tuesday threatened to explode with the anticipation of getting the keys. Wednesday right through till Friday comprised of little apart from renotalk. It's interesting to observe them this way, but a tad frustrating too. Sometimes, the kind of things they worry about make me wonder if we even need a Creative at all - they seem to be doing the design themselves! Anyhow, it's a good reminder to conserve energy for later - to mediate between our Creative and them.

So we're seeing the flat this morning. In about 30min, actually. Meeting our probable Creative there. Another step closer. To getting the design up. To getting back to the rest of the Creatives to say bye-bye (think about finessing that later!). I've charged my camera battery. Taking a slow walk soon to get some pictures on the way up. Pictures there too, of course. At least for Karate Kid's benefit. Looking forward to seeing the actual space - realised I've never stepped into a completely empty, unfinished flat. Post again later ;-)
