Turkey bones + white carrot (yes, white carrot!) + red carrot (this is beginning to sound like an NDP-worthy dish) + shredded turkey meat + red dates + lots of garlic + pinch of salt = sweet, creamy but not jelat soup for the tired soul! :-)
Finance Minister was very surprised that even when she put just the turkey bones to boil with lots of garlic, the stock was already quite milky. Hmm... yums... very nice with a bowl of steaming hot rice :-p

This sounds really delish! Sounds like the bones have a lot of collagen? :) I wouldn't have thought of putting red dates with turkey but it seems to have worked from your descriptions! :)
