You know your new home is getting older when you begin to see grimy fingerprints on otherwise pristine white furniture. Like on our dining stools. I'm tempted to say the stools are so pretty they make grimy fingerprints look cool, but that would be a big. fat. lie.
Actually, the fingerprints are a good sign - it means we've been sitting around the dining table quite a lot and needing to push/pull the chairs around vs. all doing our own thing and never having meals together. :)
But I wasn't about to let the stools go from white to grey, so I grabbed a sponge and scrubbed them out. Would love to say that I used some trendy cleaning aid, but no. :( Out of ignorance and laziness, I just used Mama Lemon. And it worked really well! The grey prints came right off - like on those detergent advertisements we see on TV!
Ten minutes and six clean chairs later... Happy Me. Step 1 for a White Christmas - done.
